I’m a designer with over 20 years experience, skilled in user experience and user interface design, with a specialist background in interaction design.

I currently work at Avaloq (an NEC company) on banking applications and design systems. I started out as a design intern at Apple, and have since worked in-house for Sony, at consultancy frog design, and as a contractor/freelancer. I’ve designed products and services for web, mobile, desktop, and consumer electronics – for companies including Sony, Disney, Nokia, Intel, and Apple.

I hold an MA in Computer Related Design (later called Interaction Design) from the Royal College of Art in London, and a BA in Consumer Product Design from Coventry University.

In design work, I apply a range of skills in user experience – including research, concept ideation, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and user testing. I believe it’s necessary to understand user and business needs as well as technical constraints in order to design holistic solutions.

I’ve lived and travelled extensively in Europe, North America, and Asia, and currently reside in Berlin, Germany.
